About Dr. Santosh Bangar

Dr Bangar is a Consultant Psychiatrist with more than 15 years of experience in mental health. After completing Psychiatry training in Mumbai, he went to UK to pursue further specialism in mental health. He has worked in the UK for 12 years in various sub-specialties before moving to Mumbai. His area of expertise is Neuropsychiatry, Psychiatry of Old Age (Geriatric Psychiatry) and Liaison (General Hospital) Psychiatry of Older People.

Dr Bangar has various publications to his name and has lectured at several conferences and workshops. He has closely worked with Dr John Holmes (co-author of NICE guidelines on Delirium) and had pleasure of writing an on-line module on Delirium for Consultants across the globe.  He is an enthusiastic teacher and enjoys teaching colleagues of varied specialty and experience.

Dr Bangar believes in holistic treatment model of medication, psychological therapies and enhancing social skills.
