Anxiety, panic disorders and phobias: feeling anxious and nervous, shaking of hands, sweating, rapid breathing, fear of heights or other objects.

Depression: feeling sad, not enjoying life, lack of pleasure from previously enjoyable activities, neglecting oneself, loss of appetite, problem with sleep, thoughts of ending life, poor concentration and remembering information, sexual problem.

Mania: feeling very happy or on top of the world, excessive spending of money, increased appetite, feeling very energetic, increased sexual need, erratic driving or reckless behaviour.

Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD): repeated hand washing, checking repeatedly, repeated cleaning, doubting oneself, getting disturbing images or thoughts.

Dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease: problem remembering new information, not able to find right word or names of people/places during conversation, not able to look after oneself, feeling sad, change in behaviour or personality.

Neuropsychiatric disorders: People with Epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and Sleep disorders can have mental illnesses like depression, psychosis or mania.

Schizophrenia and other Psychotic disorders: feeling paranoid or thinking people (or world) is against you, hearing voices or seeing things which are not there (hallucination).

Sexual problems: trouble with achieving or maintaining erection, loss of libido, excessive sexual desire.

Alcohol and drug misuse: excessive alcohol consumption, feeling dependent, or using recreational (illicit street drugs) like cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy, LSD, Ketamine etc.
